Grin Lens Array, also known as a gradient variable refractive index lens, is a columnar optical lens whose refractive index distribution is gradual along the radial direction. The refractive index at the center of the self-focusing lens has the highest value and decreases along the radial direction, so that light can be self-focused when propagating in the lens, which is often used for optical transmission in multimode communication.
According to customer requirements, our company precisely arranges self-focusing lenses into two-dimensional arrays to form self-focusing lens arrays to meet the needs of efficient coupling between fiber arrays and laser diode arrays, fiber arrays and detector arrays, etc., and accepts customer customization. Compared with micro-lens arrays made by other methods, its short focal length, both sides are planar, compact coupling space and simple coupling operation make it a preferable solution for many applications.
